Personal Biography

Sir Bryce MacLaren is a 13th Century Scottish noble that joined the Templars in 1215. He is descended from migration era Vikings that invaded Britain and decided to stay. Further back, his line runs also branches from a Roman Citizen Britius, Dux.


While on the 5th Crusade in Egypt, he was wounded in battle and cared for in a small town outside Diametta by Sufi’s. It was there he took up the drum and put aside the sword to focus on building a trade route from Egypt to Italy.

Sir Stuart MacDonald, OP

Personal Biography

Sir Stuart MacDonald is a 14th Century Scottish Knight serving in the armies of King Edward III of England. He is a member of the retinue of Sir Thomas Beauchamp, the Earl of Warwick and has participated in many campaigns including the Battles of Poitier, Auray and Najera. He also crusaded with the Earl of Warwick to Lithuania, where he joined the Teutonic Knights in fighting the heathen Lithuanians for two years. He is now between campaigns and is managing his estates in Gascony where he raises horses and tries to produce a decent wine.
